The web's most comprehensive search engine, Google is 5 today. The google zeitgeist provides a interesting snapshot of Internet surfing habits and trends in browsers usage. Personally I can't remember the last time I used a search engine other than Google, it's tight integration with Safari and it's SnapBack feature enables fast and efficient, and most importantly accurate navigation.
At the moment my website comes in at number three on a search, but whether I would really want to come top in a search for David Jones is another matter. After all there are 10,000 people in the UK alone who share my name. Commoner.
