Lazy blogging boy

I've been a lazy boy of late... so this will try and fill the gaps in:

We won the Cup final against Tongham 3-1 after extra time; Scouse hat-trick; awful pitch; great support from the fans! Could barely walk for days. At club dinner last weekend I won Captain's Player of the Year for the Reserves. Muchos beer consumed. Dead chuffed :)

Drove 270 miles yesterday on top of an 8hr day at the office. Weybridge->Winchester->Bournemouth->Gatwick->Winchester. I'm knackered now though! Dropped the folks off and they're now on holiday for the next two weeks in St Lucia. Last week Pops found out his teacher's pension appeal was successful and now they can truly relax in an all-inclusive paradise.

Have a weeks' holiday booked off from July 5-12th and am going with Georgie and her mum to Benamara on the Costa Del Sol. We've also planning a week in Croatia at the end of August to coincide with Georgie finishing her placement and starting back at Uni for her final year.

Managed to save £300 on my car insurance renewal by shopping around and around and around. Was gobsmacked by the variation in price, but eventually settled on Churchill via LloydsTSB. Here's a great site to get you started Confused.com.

Ordered a Sonic Blue case for my iPod, but it won't arrive in Winchester until tomorrow, by which time I'll be in Bournemouth for the weekend with Baz and Georgie. Bazza's ICE-Link came yesterday though and works a treat apparently. Will have to have a play with it this weekend, maybe even doing a Westover Road cruise!

Finally, the countdown to Euro2004 is ticking. Only two weeks to go now, and as an added bonus Steve is back from New York for two weeks on the 8th. C'mon England!

Hope your all dandy :)

PS I've also renewed my contract on the house in Winchester, so I'm here til February 2005 at least.

Its the folks from St Lucia replying, this seems to be the only way to make contact. We sent an email on Sunday to you, not sure if it got through. Spent Sunday at the test match, both had a good day! We've had quick usually heavy showers everyday but usually in the evening/overnight. Hope to do one or two trips later in the week. Resort is great full of romantics - three weddings going on today, even the champagne glasses were laid out in a heart shape.
